Graffiti: Drew Wesely - guitar/electronics Dan O’Brien - woodwinds
Approaching improvisational languages from the stripped down context of mano-a-mano dialogue, Graffiti explores relationships between duration, texture, timbre, and affect to create constantly evolving sonic worlds with nuanced shades of interaction and interplay which allow the music to emerge from itself in its most primal organic state.
Dirk Adams makes sound/music under the name mrdirky. Thoughtfully weird and casually deep. His recent electronic explorations are inspired by self-organizing systems and the mechanisms by which they are constrained.
Duck That: Angela Sawyer Josh Jefferson Steve Norton Jesse Collins
Duck calls, reeds & electronics come to resemble either Jazz or the sounds of animals in pain. First full quartet performance from this once regular Boston group in quite some time.
